The Correlated Relationship of Priority and Progress

The Individual variation in where choose to prioritize your nutrition and strength training in your life directly influences the rate at which you will be able to progress.

When evaluating your own rate of progress you have to include existing external commitments that may currently be a higher priority, or may always be a higher priority (kids, significant other, etc.)

This doesn't mean that you are unable to make progress or will not reach your goals by any means. It simply means you have less total resources to dedicate than someone who may not have the other commitments that you have.

This Priority x Progress Matrix video above helps put a visualization and a few likely scenarios that demonstrate rate of progress determined by level of prioritization of nutrition and strength training.

SLOW PROGRESS IS BETTER THAN NO PROGRESS.

Each week in my Metabolic Performance Protocol you get a topic just like this alongside an (optional) dedicated training program, custom nutrition targets set fortnightly by me, weekly live Zoom call reviews, check-ins and more. If you have specific nutrition, health, and body composition related goals and are committed to reaching them, I want to be your resource for helping you achieve them!
